Translation
Friday, the 27th day of the 12th month in a (lacuna) Tiger year (1915). A document of agreement drawn up by the nuns of Gonpa Gang. Property from Gonpa Gang—golden images, brass images, brocade pendants and other things – has been stolen. All those concerned (i.e. the sorority of nuns) will act with mutual supportiveness (“one upon one, two upon two”), with no apportioning of blame (“it was she, not I”), no false accusation (“accusing the son of the fault of the father”), mi ngan kha grigs (? see note); information from the outside shall be brought inside, but inside information shall not be conveyed outside. [The nuns] have decided that they shall [collectively] take responsibility for whatever the cost of the property from Gonpa Gang might have been. If no one takes responsibility for the theft, they declare that they will not refuse any punishment the lama might impose on them. The following nuns place their marks: Sangye Droma; Dawa Chödzom; Tshugtrim (< Tshultrim?) Zangmo; Kunzang Chökyi; Sherab Zangmo; Rinchen Khandro; Sangye Chödzom; Phurba, and Sridar.

Note
Line 3, mi ngan kha grigs: variants of this formula appear in a number of documents from South Mustang, but its precise significance remains unclear.
