Christoph Cüppers’ present focus of research is the history and culture of 17th century Tibet and the subsequent years of the Ganden Phodrang rule, with particular interest in state administration and law of this period. Beside his study of legal documents so far available from different sources he is preparing glossaries of legal and administrative Tibetan terms which will be incorporated into the present project.
